The house Tim built for us in Ford's Colony was our first custom home. We had a seemingly endless number of questions about the process,both at the beginning and throughout the building stages.
Tim walked us through every step and addressed our questions quickly and confidently. There were no surprises. When something minor cropped up unexpectantly,Tim's standard phrase was:"We'll make it right." And he did -- every time! One main factor, we believe, in selecting a builder is to realize that you will have a very close, year-long relationship with that person. It should be someone likeable,easy to work with, reliable, knowledgeable and flexible.

We could not have asked for a better experience and are thrilled with how everything turned out! Having built a home prior to this, we are familiar with the process and what it entails. As a result we were intimidated to start again but quickly realized that we had no reason to be. You accounted for every detail yet simplified it for us and guided us through all of the decisions.
Thank you for being conscientious of our budget and still ensuring that we were able to achieve the look and quality that we were hoping for. You also have a very qualified group of subcontractors who were really great to work with also. We are still amazed at the timeframe in which the house was completed. Every element turned out better than we had hoped.

We can't say enough positive about our experience with Tim and Blackrock Builders. Living 900 miles away during the building process, it was important to us to have a builder whom we could totally trust. We needed him to be our advocate and to keep us informed throughout. Tim did that and much more. He sent frequent photos of the construction progress and even called us on the Sunday after Hurricane Irene to let us know our house had not sustained damage. Tim is totally committed to making the houses he builds just what his clients want. He has gone above and beyond the call of duty to help us feel comfortable in our new house. We would recommend him without reservation to anyone wanting a beautifully built house and an enjoyable building process!

We love our house that Tim built. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none. This was not our first time having a house built, but it was far and away the most positive experience. From the planning phase through the lot clearance and construction, Tim proved to be knowledgeable, reliable, available and responsive to our requests. Honest and personable, he is very easy to work with. Tim was also mindful of the budget, and there were no surprises.
